2026 RELEASE 4
July 2026

We push back our pre-summer release by a week to account for a High Severity Security Patch for Umbraco Forms which was landing w/c 27th July. With the new LOOP infrastructure we were able to deploy this twice as quickly, keeping sites updated and running smoothly going into the summer holidays.

• AI optimisation - LLMS.txt (like a sitemap for AEO) can now be created and added straight in the CMS
• AI optimisation - FAQ schema is now automatically generated
• Password protection can now be applied to specific pages or areas of the site, managed entirely within the CMS
• New 'Feature list' block (example)
• New 'Signpost panel grid section' block (example)
• Umbraco Core patch - upgraded to version 13.15.1 for high severity vulnerability

2026 RELEASE 2
March 2026

We have focused mainly on pagespeed improvements, bug fixes and optimisations ahead of the Easter Holidays, as well as a number of new features:

• New download listing block for showing media and downloads - great for educational hubs or campaigns.
• Multiple email send settings in a single Umbraco site, so multi-site LOOP clients can have forms submissions coming from each brand.
• Reverse Proxy functionality - allows for a LOOP site to look like it's within an existing website / domain.
• Ability to enable ‘Open/Close all' controls to the Expanders and FAQ blocks (demo)
• Tab section updates to allow stacked content layout and auto-centering on the active tab in the navigation.
• New canonical page 'lower content block' option so that you can do more with canonical page layouts.

2026 RELEASE 1
January 2026

We start the year with a release of feature improvements, theming / design options and a new Transport Timetable feature.

• New hero layout options to add tint to image or transparency to panel
• Set themes to event panels and listings
• New transport timetable module
• Minor tweaks to add paragraph as a formatting option in text editor and clickable image to decoy panels
• Assorted bugfixes

Plus as part of our ongoing investment in the LOOP platform, we’ve started a major piece of infrastructure work to support improved efficiency and future scalability, more on this in upcoming updates.

2025 RELEASE 4 - w/c 29th September
September 2025

New effects, blocks, features and options to optimise your site as we head into the winter:

• New full-page effects and improved flexibility for snow, smoke and fireworks, set site-wide or per page
• New FAQ search block that can be added to any page
• Improved redirect management and ability to override these in the CMS
• Image captions now supported across a range of elements and SVG support in more place.
• More flexible panel layouts with centred content and compact split section options
• Global news categories for easier filtering and organisation
• New canonical page listing layout options

Plus there's improved file / media management, site search and more improvements behind-the-scenes.

2025 RELEASE 3 - w/c 14th July
July 2025

It's a bumper pre-Summer-Holidays release with over 30 updates, fixes and new features...  here are some highlights:

• New way to drop blocks into text editors to create more varied content / layouts
  
• New fadey background block for less boxiness
  
• New sitewide and block-level settings to change spacing
  
• New Daily Shows block so they can be added on other pages.
  
• New continual scrolling horizontal panels slider option.
  
• New Media Gallery block
  

Plus a whole host of tweaks and improvements:
You can now add videos to interactive map points, you can add content / other page types under location pages. The Decoy panels now let you have free products or whole numbers, the CMS logout timeout has been extended, there's a grid mode for What's On events listings, panels can now be toggled to drop under the hero section on mobiles. Plus we fixed a number of bugs with the mega menus, panel sliders and underlying code improvements for media handling.

We've been able to bring the next release a month earlier to make sure LOOP clients are ready for Easter.

• New Daily Events listing - help guests plan their day and showcase what's included in your tickets with daily shows, talks and events.
• New 'Fading Scroll Content' block - a new immersive block to showcase events, guest journeys and more.
• Added locations to Event Schemas for improved search visibility.
• Fixed the 'missing button' option in the text editors
• Bug fixes and under-the-hood tweaks

Plus - Multi-brand Site Add-on
Multiple brands are now available in LOOP!  This highly requested feature now means that we can offer multiple designs within the same LOOP website using our new Brand Bundle functionality.  There are a few ways this can be used: 

• Option 1) Totally separate brand website
  If you need different header / footer options and navigation then we can setup a new home node and theme. This can also work with multiple URLs/domains or subdomains within a single LOOP instance.
• Option 2) Minisite within your main site
  New Brand Bundles can be applied to sections or pages within your existing site - perfect for themed restaurants, flagship events, dedicated conservation areas and more.
• Option 3) Themed pages
  A Brand Bundle can be applied to a single or multiple pages, so they're perfect for smaller one-page campaigns or event pages. 

AUTUMN / WINTER 2024

At the start of November, we rolled out a big release to all LOOP clients, with a whole host of new capabilities, blocks and options... along with a bunch of tweaks and bugfixes:

• Calendar enhancements, including the ability to add a key and flash messages per day
• Dynamic new signposts block
• Offers grid - perfect for campaigns that reveal each day (like an Advent Calendar, or daily offers) 
• New video optimisations and embed options
• New horizontal scrollers to help add movement and more variation to your layouts (great for mobile)
• Ability to add auto-populated news and events carousels

Effects, trigger modals and Christmas time... in July? The Q2 release for 2024 was slightly delayed due to needing to rework some frontend workflows, but that's now sorted, and we've implemented a whole host of new features for the Summer Holidays: 

• Trigger modals
• New Marquee Scroller block layout
• Seasonal hover/cursor effects
• Show themes / animation effects
• Text header and content transitions
• New online User Guide, Roadmap and Feature Request processes now live

Q1 2024
In the LOOP #2

Q1 saw the launch of our most requested feature to date - interactive maps. This was a massive update, allowing LOOP clients to add and edit a unlimited number of maps, straight in the CMS.
