Opening Times

You’ll see a node called ‘Opening times’. This is where you’ll be able to manage Opening times on the website. The opening times page is where the calendar is displayed, and has the standard page settings.

Managing Opening Times

The actual open/closed times are managed using ‘Seasons’. These are separate nodes that sit underneath the main Opening times node. Multiple ‘seasons’ can be created if opening times vary between Autumn/Winter/Spring/Summer.Each Seasons has settings for:

• ‘From’ - a date when these opening times start to apply
• ‘To’ - a date when these opening times finish
• Opening times - The Opening times for each day of the week that apply throughout this season
• Closures and overrides - If opening times vary on specific dates within a season, they can be edited here. This allows you to edit specific dates without needing to create lots of ‘seasons’ (for example. being closed on Christmas Day)

Seasons can be ‘copied’ and updated to make editing easier. These opening times control what appears on the opening times page, the opening times in the top utility bar, and the opening times that appear on the homepage info bar (underneath the hero area).
