Umbraco is one of the Content Management Systems (CMS) that we use for our website projects. We’ve used it for many years, and have recently been working to package up our 20+ years of attractions expertise into a more scalable solution.

We always strive to provide the best solutions for clients, using a variety of tools, systems and techniques. Our combination of design, technology and sector expertise has come together to create our new LOOP platform for attractions.
LOOP embraces the latest Umbraco Cloud technology to streamline attraction website creation like never before. What previously took many months of planning, design and coding can now be accomplished in a matter of days, enabling attractions to roll out significantly higher quality, faster and more accessible sites quickly. Clients are able to take advantage of a host of attraction-specific features like open times, alert messages, daily shows listings, maps, help centres and more, all underpinned with the seamless editing experience in Umbraco CMS.
Ensuring attractions could be presented in unique and compelling ways online was a key part of our LOOP planning. Creating a scalable, flexible foundation, whilst allowing attractions to add their own look and feel was no mean feat. Our combination of best-practice modules, layout options and custom styling layers, mean we have struck a balance between flexibility and speed so that clients can save money and time.
The whole team at Semantic have been involved in the process to bring LOOP to life and I’m really proud to see this achievement recognised. From bringing together the spec, mockups and flexible designs, to mapping out the infrastructure and overcoming all the challenges along the way, they’ve really created something that we can grow and build on for years to come.
Equally, I’d like to thank the first LOOP attractions who have come on board since the start of 2023. Their trust, support, and valuable feedback has played a crucial role in helping to shape the platform.
