This guide will take you through the key steps, ensuring your pages are functional, visually appealing, and optimised for users.

Top tip - hover and look for the DOTS.
In LOOP, the dots are often the fastest way to get to the options you need.

(note this is sped up 30% but if you'd like the original that's here on Loom)

Setting Up a New Page

  • Find the content tree in LOOP.
  • Navigate to the parent node where you want the page to appear.
  • Hover over that Node and click the dots next to the parent node and select "Standard Page" or another specific page type.
  • Name the page and click "Save."
  • Click "Save and Publish" to make the page live, or leave it unpublished if it’s not ready.

Select the content type that you want to create (e.g a Standard page).
Now you have a blank canvas to add your content/copy.

Customising Your Page

  • Add content using the "Blocks" section, such as text, images, or hero content.
  • Drag and drop blocks to arrange the page layout.
  • Add hero images or videos to create an engaging header.
  • Use block themes to style your content for consistent branding.
  • Include interactive elements like tabs, reviews, or pricing sections to enhance the user experience.

Managing Menu and SEO Settings

  • Use the "Show in Menu" option to include the page in your site’s navigation.
  • Add titles and descriptions for SEO to optimise search visibility.
  • Customise OG settings for social sharing, including titles, descriptions, and images.
  • Add relevant keywords to improve internal site search relevance.

Additional Features

  • Right-click on a page and select "Move" to change its position in the site structure.
  • Use the "Copy" option to duplicate existing pages for reuse across sections.
  • Experiment with advanced settings like fixed backgrounds, transparent headers, or call-to-action overrides.

By following these steps, you can efficiently create and customise new pages in LOOP CMS. For advanced tips, check out related guides on block themes and effects. Happy building!
