Site Settings

These are settings that control elements in the main header of the website, including the logo and header button links.

Managing the header

These are settings that control elements in the main header of the website, including the logo and header button links.

There is also a Promo bar tab. The Promo bar is an element that appears underneath the header and can be used for many purposes. A couple of example use cases:

Utility bar settings

This is where you can edit the links that appear in the bar at the very top of the website, above the header. The opening times are dynamically populated from the Opening Times section in the CMS - this will be covered in a later section of this document.

Footer settings

These are settings that control elements in the footer of the website, including the social media links and footer links. The footer links section is a list of links that aren’t in the main header or utility bar, but you still want to be accessible for the users. E.g. Jobs, Press etc.

Call to action section

This tab controls the section that appears at the bottom of all pages on the website. For example, by selecting a form section you can have a newsletter available on all pages without having to manually add them on a page-by-page basis.

section can be disabled on a page-by-page basis too.

Emergency messages

You’ll see a node that sits underneath the homepage called ‘Emergency Message’’. This is where you’ll be able manage the optional emergency messages that can appear prominently on the website:

In this section, you’ll see all messages that have been added to the system already. Messages can be deleted if they’ve expired, or they can be kept (but not marked as ‘active’), if you think you’ll need to enable a particular message again in the future.

If multiple messages are marked as ‘active’ then the site will show whichever one is higher up the list. If you click on a message you’ll be taken to the editor screen where you can control whether it’s active, the content, or schedule it to show/hide.
